[Sheet 02 · Our Standard]

Four things every job clears, before we sign off.

We do residential HVAC the way a structural engineer does a foundation — measured, documented, warrantied.

The four pillars below aren’t marketing. They’re the checklist every Westhill jobhas to clear before the truck leaves the driveway. If a job can’t clear them, we don’t take it.

P-01SIZING

We Manual J every install. No exceptions.

Most replacements are guess-and-replace — match what’s there, oversize “to be safe.” That’s how a 4-ton system gets dropped on a house that needs 2.5. We run a Manual J load calculation on every install — square footage, insulation, window orientation, infiltration. The system that goes in is the system the house actually needs.

P-02RESPONSE

90-minute response on no-heat / no-cool. Real ETAs.

When the system fails in a heat dome or a cold snap, “sometime this week” is not an answer. We staff 24/7 dispatch and commit to a 90-minute on-site target for no-heat and no-cool calls in the Treasure Valley. You get a tech name, a truck number, and a real ETA — not a four-hour window.

P-03WARRANTY

10-year parts. 5-year labor. Our number, not a call center’s.

The industry baseline is 1-year labor. Ours is five. Parts coverage runs ten. If something fails inside the warranty window, you call the same dispatch number you called the first time — not a national hotline that takes two weeks to find a contractor.

P-04DOCUMENTATION

Every job leaves a paper trail. Photos, models, readings.

You shouldn’t have to remember what model your furnace is or where the shut-off lives. Every install and major service ends with a documented package — equipment model and serial, refrigerant charge, static pressure readings, before/after photos, and a copy of the load calc — emailed and stored on file.
